I could never see what is so wonderful about homosexuality and two men sodomizing each other or two lesbians trying to do the same. So i agree with the Twelve Tribes that is clearly stated in the Bible not to do, ask forgiveness from God and simply not engage in it.
We are now school and media conditioned to accept homosexuality and sodomy and applaud it.

Romans 1 is one passage of New Testament scripture that addresses homosexuality.
"26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. 28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done."

I think all people deserve love and compassion, but we should also have a right to speak what we know to be the truth according to the Bible and not be intimidated by moralphobics or Biblephobics. People can't always help how they feel, but all of us can control what we do or choose not to do.

And i've worked with homosexual men at work who simply choose not to engage in sexual activity with another person. But the media makes it sound like if a person is homosexual, they somehow will die without sexual intimacy. Sex is a choice and you won't die without it.
Ever notice how the media never says how wonderful it is to be single and not sleep around, or how wonderful it is to be married and not cheat?

I'm glad someone shared Jesus with me last year and Acts 2:38 and other passages of scripture. That i can be a child of God, forgiven and filled with the Creator. I don't have to live in a Twelve Tribes commune house to go to Heaven and i don't have to be forced to be politically correct and applaud the LGBT and other immoral practices of heterosexual people that lead one to eternal separation from the Creator.

The Twelve Tribes really did affect my thinking some when i lived with them. I still reflect on my times there, good and bad. I'd like to see them take the New Testament more seriously and stop trying to be the Jewish religion, which they never will be. I don't like the mandatory home circumcisions of males and the Cham teaching about how black people should still be slaves to white people unless they join the Tribes. This is so wrong.

If you're a Twelve Tribes member, i'm not against you, i care about you, i'm just against some of the false teachings and over-working Tribes members and things like that, and also hitting the children too frequently for trivial offenses like making funny faces or playing pretend or having too much fun. Childhood should be a fun time. I'm not against spanking, but it can really be abused. Does this make sense?
